Xu Zi, Qin Mian, Wang Ying, Wang Chuxiao, Huang Xuan graduated from A9 Studio at the Architecture school, China Central Academy of Fine Art. They conceived this project during they took part in the joint thesis   design of eight architecture academies in 2017.

In 2018, the joint work of Xu Zi, Qin Mian, Wang Ying, Wang Chuxiao and Huang Xuan was exhibited in the exhibition Infrastructural Territory: The Spatial Foundation of National Discourse at OCAT Shanghai.
